Chicken : 1kg
4 onions finely chopped
4 tomatos finely chopped
Coriander : 3 bunches
Green chillies : 5 nos
Turmeric : 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli powder : 1 teaspoon
Jeera : 1 teaspoon
Blend the coriander and green chillies in a mixer and keep it aside.
Add 2 tablespoons of oil into a pan. Add jeera into the pan. Once it starts spluttering, add the finely chopped onions. Wait till the onion turns translucent. Now add the chopped tomato. Cook till it becomes soft and blends with the onion. Now add the salt, turnmeric powder,chilli powder. Cook till it turns into a nicely blended masala mixture and oil starts oozing out.
Now add the coriander chilli mixture to this. Cook for 5 mins.
Now you can add the chicken to this mixture and cook for 40 minutes or alternately, pressure cook the chicken and then add it to the coriander masala.
